- I like to contribute to the physics community through academic service: I represent Strathclyde physics postdocs on the Departmental and Research Committees
- I contribute to the collegiate atmosphere in the institutions I work in, regularly inviting academic visitors and arranging talks, and giving informal talks on my own work to the group
- I co-lead the University of Strathclyde Disability and Neurodiverse Staff Network

- I have always enjoyed outreach work to the public at every stage of my career, including designing and running a workshop for A-level students and the public during my PhD
